The old golf course is rich in plant life, with a wonderful variety of wildflowers bringing colour through the seasons. From delicate meadow blooms to tall grasses swaying in the breeze, the ground is alive with changing patterns of growth. Mature trees provide shelter and character, while pockets of wetland are edged with bullrushes, creating a perfect haven for birds and insects. Together they form a vibrant and ever-changing landscape that supports so much of the wildlife we see here.
